Early Pregnancy Support
However you're feeling, most people have to wait until around 10-12 weeks for their midwifery booking appointment. That means early pregnancy can often be a time where you don't know where to turn for professional support and guidance. We are here to support you through it all, no matter the outcome.Â
Antenatal Support
Antenatal support appointments work alongside your regular midwifery care to help fill in the gaps and level up your experience. We've worked alongside thousands of clients and with extensive antenatal counselling experience can ensure you receive the personalised in-depth support you need. This allows you to feel fully informed about all aspects of care and affords you confidence in decision making.
Birth Planning
Our birth planning support includes birth education to give you a broad understanding of all the options. We'll gather some initial information about you, your pregnancy, and your preferences allowing us to prepare in advance of meeting you. There will be opportunity to ask questions, explore topics of interest, and discuss the evidence base for your care. Finally, we'll compile your preferences, plans and any individualised care requirements into a birth plan document.
Postnatal Support
Your body is healing, your mind is adjusting, your emotions are deep, and tiredness overlays everything. You'll normally receive a few midwife and/or maternity support worker visits, but there's often still room for more questions, reassurance, encouragement and care. With experience caring for thousands of postnatal families we're here and ready to fill that gap in whatever way you need.
Reflective Support
Many parents are left with residual questions, thoughts and concerns about their experience. Whether it's chatting through events to gain perspective and understanding, processing the changes that parenthood brings, or simply having someone translate medical jargon into plain English, we're here for you.Â
